The Sparrow's Nest is an Athens area non-profit that focuses on those who are displaced, on the streets, in shelters, or who may also struggle under the federal poverty line. Our partnership with them includes volunteering for food service twice a month and other types of support.

ACTS is an Oconee County food bank and clothes closet. Bogart UMC regularly volunteers time and donates items.

Get Connected Bogart a multi-denominational Community Bible Study group designed for all ages.  Meetings are held at Bogart First Baptist Church on Wednesdays starting with a light supper at 6:30. At 7:00 PM, we break into age specific groups for study (children, youth, adult). Since we are family focused, we feel it is important to provide the same study subject for all ages. Our hope is for families, as well as congregations, to have meaningful conversations about faith. All are welcome!
